Sustainability

Specific commitments. No green paint.

Flexible packaging already has a strong sustainability case: it protects more product with less material than almost any alternative, and preventing food waste is the biggest environmental benefit packaging provides. Our other commitments, governed under a recognised environmental-management standard, are listed plainly below — what is in place, and what is in development.

In place

  • Right-first-time manufacturing — our lean and process-control systems exist to eliminate waste at source; every rejected roll avoided is material, energy and transport saved.
  • Engineered light-weighting — structures specified to the target, not padded above it; grammage is a design parameter, not a default.
  • Environmental management — aspect/impact assessment, VOC and solvent control, and waste diverted from landfill, managed to a recognised standard.
  • Ethical operations — recognised ethical-trade four-pillar standards across labour, health & safety, environment and business ethics.

In development

  • Design for circularity — recyclable, mono-material and, where appropriate, compostable structures.
  • Recycled content & responsible sourcing — advanced in partnership with customers and suppliers.
  • Resource-efficiency targets — energy, water and emissions objectives set, monitored and reported.
We publish progress here as it is achieved — not before. If your organisation has specific sustainability requirements, bring them into the specification conversation; structure choice is where most of the impact is decided.
Bring your sustainability targets into the specification conversation.

Send us your product and target shelf life. We will propose a structure.

Just tell us the product, format, volumes and market. That is all our technical team needs to start.
